Bocci uses glass blowing and glass, ceramics and metal sand-casting to produce their unique, hand-crafted lights.
The 14 series chandelier, designed in 2005, is formed from articulated cast glass hemispheres with a frosted cylindrical void that houses a low voltage or LED lamp. Individual pendants are visually quite subtle but gain tremendous strength when multiplied and clustered in large groups.
Chandeliers come in clusters of 5, 7, 14, 26 and 36 pendants. The light interacts with the imperfections, rifts, bruises and bubbles of the cast glass to make a rich halo of light. Because cast glass is an organic process - hand-crafted and imperfect by nature - each piece produced is unique.
The 14 series light is also available as a single pendant or in a cluster of three pendants.

Materials
Made from clear cast glass.
Light source (included): Xenon 2600K. IP30 rated.
Canopy for 5 and 7 pendants in brushed nickel. The 14, 26 and 36 pendants have a white powder-coated canopy.
The pendants come as standard with 3m of coaxial cable. The cable length for 5 and 7 pendants can be adjusted on site. 14, 26 and 36 pendant lengths are pre-set and are not site adjustable.
The light is customisable and can be ordered with pendants in grey or sepia, additional cable length, alternative light source (LED 2500K, 2700K or 3000K) and different canopy finishes (for sizes 5 and 7 only). Please enquire for details.
