511 Ventaglio Dining Table
511 Ventaglio dining table by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina.
The special configuration of the top and the leg placement allow dynamic and flexible table usage by a greater number of people with respect to a traditional configuration.
Designed in 1972 for her chalet in Méribel, the shape of this revolutionary table makes it radically different from all others. The unusual design is based on the placement of boards, partly aligned and partly in a delta wing pattern, combining the individual components so as to produce a structure of unexpected versatility. Resulting in a table that adapts to new uses free of formal limitations.
