The Jean Stool, designed in 2010, is a refined evolution of the Houdini collection. Plywood is hand moulded around a solid wood ring to form the backrest and the seat edge, showcasing the material’s three-dimensional qualities.
The backwards-slanted seat ensures stability and prevents sliding, while the horizontal footrest adds comfort and stabilises the base. Blending traditional craftsmanship with industrial design, the stool is assembled without screws or nails, highlighting its innovative construction.
With its distinctive design and thoughtful functionality, the Jean Stool makes a striking addition to any modern space and is available with or without a backrest.
