The Gatto Table Lamp, designed initially in 1960 by Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni, was reintroduced to the market by Flos in 2005 as part of their cocoon lamp range.
This unique lamp is an excellent example of modernist aesthetics and innovative technology. Its sinuous steel structure, redolent of a hot air balloon, is coated with a special resin to create the cocoon-like diffuser, which produces a semi-transparent effect and softly casts light in your space.
This unique lamp has a hot air balloon shape and comes in two sizes: the Gatto Piccolo (small) and the Gatto Grande (large).

White powder-coated internal steel structure sprayed with a unique "cocoon" resin to create the diffuser.
