Céramique Down
Céramique Down by Ronan Bouroullec for Flos.
Designed by Ronan Bouroullec in 2023, the Céramique collection features three modern lamps crafted from a single terracotta body. Each lamp comprises a base, stem, and cap with a fixed, non-adjustable diffuser in three different positions: up, down and to the side. The Down version of the lamp directs the light downwards, making it ideal as a reading or table lamp.
Bouroullec chose to work with ceramics for this collection as a tribute to traditional craftwork. Each piece is meticulously handmade, showcasing the artisan's attention to detail and craftsmanship.
The lamp, available in three colours, is complete with a lead-free lacquered crystalline finish, accentuating its handcrafted surface.
Céramique also marks Flos's first venture into the world of ceramics.
