Aymara Cushion | Cream by Herman Studio for Form & Refine.
Form & Refine's Aymara Cushion was designed following a trip Herman Studio took to Bolivia. After discovering the country's rich cultural heritage of alpaca fibre, they thought to combine this with their own Nordic design sensibility which features subtle colours and graphic patterns.
The cushions are crafted from high-quality alpaca wool sourced by a cooperative of 400 local farmers in the Andes, where alpacas have been integral to the community for generations.
The cushion is handcrafted using traditional techniques from 100% pure alpaca wool in its natural, undyed hues. Unlike typical interior textiles, it is knitted rather than woven, adding a unique texture and feel.
