Drawing inspiration from a pier near their studio in Stockholm, Note Design Studio designed the Pelagus collection in 2021 to reflect the diverse lifestyles of the Stockholm archipelago, seamlessly blending cosmopolitan urban influences with a grounded, nature-inspired aesthetic.
In 2025, Fritz Hansen expanded the collection by introducing a high table and matching bar stool while preserving the collection's slender and contemporary design. Focused on design, comfort, and versatility, the stools are available in two heights, with an optional cushion. They are stackable up to four, making them easy to store when not in use.

Materials
FSC-Certified untreated teak with base in powder coated aluminium.
As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate to a silvery grey over time. To preserve or enhance the original colour, regularly treat the wood with a suitable wood oil.
Available with an optional seat cushion upholstered in Agora Panama, a weatherproof and durable textile. The cushions are filled with a resilient quick-dry outdoor foam filling that provides firm and comfortable support.
