G10 Pendant by Greta Grossman for Gubi.
The Swedish designer Greta M. Grossman emigrated to the US in the 1940s where she played a significant role in defining the aesthetic of the mid-century Californian design. An enthusiastic proponent of European modernism, her designs are noted for their lightness of form and elegant lines.
Grossman designed the G10 collection, consisting of a floor and pendant light, in 1950. It was her tenth product for the Swedish manufacturer Bergboms, hence the name.

Materials
The matt coated aluminium shade has a slightly rough textured surface which lends an industrial yet sophisticated air to this elegant light.
Available in black (RAL 9005).
The interior of the shade is white (RAL 9003) with a satinised opal glass shade.
Supplied with brass-plated steel ceiling rose and a black matching 4m cable.
