Chroma Pendant
Chroma Pendant by Tom Housden for Hand & Eye.
The Chroma Pendant features a unique shape, inspired by an existing light in Hand & Eye's collection. The light is slip-cast in earthenware and finished with a semi-matt glaze, giving it a soft, satin texture.
The pendants are crafted from white-bodied earthenware clay to enhance the purity of the glaze colour. A specially developed, subtly reflective, satin glaze, is applied in collaboration with expert ceramicists, with the rim of each shade is left unglazed, allowing the natural whiteness of the earthenware to show through.
Available in three nature-inspired colours, Chroma Oyster, Mustard, and Liquorice, each shade was carefully chosen to evoke a sense of calm, drawing influence from sand dunes, straw, and raven feathers.
