Trestle Leg Stool by Jones Neville.
This solid ash stool by London-based design studio Jones Neville has been designed to complement their wooden trestle. Utilising the offcuts from the trestle production, the stool is crafted from short lengths of wood. Each piece is routed into a square shape with 50mm rounded corners and a subtly filleted underside, and then carefully glued together.
The legs are splayed at a 10-degree angle, echoing the design of the trestle, and are securely fixed into V-shaped grooves in a pair of slotted rails. The two leg assemblies are then joined and bolted into sockets beneath the seat, ensuring strength and stability. The stool can be easily disassembled into individual components for convenient storage or transportation.
