Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby presented this project, their first for Knoll, at the Salone del Mobile 2013, as Knoll celebrated their 75th anniversary.
Each piece of this extensive range contrasts and balances the soft (curves) with the architectural (stitched seams). As Barber Osgerby put it: “Given a sofa's scale and prominence in a room, we felt the pieces should be formally balanced and calm, expressing their character through details.”
Each piece sits on distinctive cast aluminium feet that slide between its upholstered elements, connecting them together.

Materials
Frame crafted from plywood and massive wood with seat, made from memory foam to enhacnce comfort. Feet made from dies casted adjustable feet in chome, lacquered red or lacquered black.
Fabric slip covers are removable.
