Stacking chair, 1957
Stacking Chair by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol.
This 1957 chair was cleverly designed to stack vertically. The original was widely used by meeting rooms and schools, before the dawn of the ubiquitous polypropylene chair. Now it forms an ideal chair for when you have extra visitors, whilst when not in use a stack of these chairs makes a dramatic display.
