AJ Eklipta was originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1959 for Rødovre Town Hallin, where they were used to illuminate stairways. A smaller 22cm diameter was later designed for St. Catherine’s College in England.
The wall-mounted option features holes for side cables in the mounting block, while wall/ceiling and ceiling only variants have no holes for cables.

Materials
AJ Eklipta provides soft and comfortable lighting. The construction of the glass ensures an evenly lit surface. The three-layer mouth-blown glass shade has a clear edge, creating a halo of light around the perimeter.
White opal glass shade and white, powder-coated aluminium ceiling/wall block.
Available in two sizes, large and small.
The small size may be mounted on either wall or ceiling while the large size is available in the wall only variants.
Bulb: 1x40W QT ax-14 Frosted G9 (not included). IP 20 rating.
LED light source also available. Small (22cm diameter): 7.8W LED 2700K 42 lm/W. Large: 1 x 60W E27 (not included).
