Introducing the Lightwood collection, one of Jasper Morrisons first design projects while living in Japan. Inspired by the ability of Japanese architects and designers to make things light in appearance, Morrison combined with the expert wood craftsmanship of Maruni’s to achieve the light wooden structure and visual transparency.
The versatile lightwood bar stool is offered in a choice of fabric options. The mesh seat reiterates the chair's lightweight expression whereas the webbed seat provides an interesting contrast with the inherently solid wood frame. A high version is also available, please see 'product range' below.

Available in maple (urethane clear or black) oak (urethane clear, whitish or natural black) or ash (urethane clear or natural black).
The wood used in this product is obtained from maple, oak or ash trees in North America that are managed and felled in a planned manner.
The paints, adhesives and plywood used here suppress VOC emissions in manufacturing processes and finished products.
