The Loja Floor Lamp by Sebastian Herkner, named after Finnish-American textile artist and sculptor Loja Saarinen, is designed as both a luminous source and a sculptural object. Defined by its generous scale and elegant simplicity, the design pairs a mouth-blown glass base with a wide, softly curved shade, creating a striking yet balanced presence within the room.
The large shade can be freely adjusted, allowing the light to shift between direct and ambient illumination. A soft-touch stepless dimmer and high-quality LED unit ensure warm, harmonious light, ideal for living spaces or reading areas.
True to Midgard’s philosophy, the lamp is constructed from only three materials: glass, paper, and steel, each separable and fully recyclable. Its modular construction allows individual parts to be replaced, ensuring longevity as well as a refined, sustainable design.
