In 1944, Niels Otto Møller founded J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, a company that has received many awards, including the Danish Furniture Prize in 1974 and 1981.

Each chair took Niels Otto Møller five years to complete. This work ethic is why the Møller collection is relatively small for a company that’s been around for more than 60 years, and which also what makes Møller so special.

The underlying foundation of J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik is its proud tradition of classic craftsmanship. Only the best quality is good enough. This principle applies from the selection of the raw wood to the finished item of furniture. Furniture is assembled by the company’s own trained cabinetmakers. This ensures the continuity of the high quality which is at all times our ultimate goal.
