Inspired by history, this collection of traditional Indian flat-weave Dhurrie rugs recovers the essence of the rug both in its texture and in its use. For the desert nomads, a house is built on a rug, as it originally served to protect people from the ground. They represented an object of daily use; as well as providing comfort, they also defined the space.
Over time, the rug has become a decorative element and a vehicle for cultural messages. The Tres collection represents the modern-day transformation of tradition and reflects Nanimarquina's passion for craftmanship. Its classical essence is achieved thanks to its handcrafted production in India using a very old and traditional technique; the dhurrie.
Available in three styles: Tres, Tres Stripes and Tres Texture.
Available in the following colours: Black, blue, salvia, ochre, green, chocolate and pearl.
