Designed by Ronan Bouroullec, the Doblecara rugs display linear strokes intermittently positioned to create a sense of movement. Highly versatile, each design is reversible, with the 'B' side featuring a more subtle and delicate design and the 'A' side highlighting the straight-lined design to its fullest extent.
Doblecara's development relied on a unique technique combining traditional kilim and hand-knotting to create distinct linesThe finishing result is a rug that is visually striking and durable.
Every rug is crafted by hand using hand-spun Afghan wool. This technique provides a rustic look, with the inherent irregularities adding to the rug's charm.
The collection consists of four rugs in different colour combinations: black/beige, beige/black, beige/red, and beige/beige.
