Borne Béton Grande
Borne Béton Floor Light by Le Corbusier for Nemo Lighting
The Borne Béton Grande is a floor light by one of the Modernism's foremost designers, Le Corbusier. Displaying the designer and architect's affinity with concrete as a mouldable material, the light has a smooth sculptural form balanced by its brutalist aesthetic.
Reissued for a contemporary setting, the Borne Béton Grande features a PMMA covered LED board for bright downward light, reflected in part by the cement structure. Each light is handmade individually, with small differences in the finish making each truly unique from the next.
The outdoor model is IP44 rated and includes a vandal-proof fixing plate.
