The Bastone collection, designed by award-winning master cabinet maker and designer Antrei Hartikainen, explores the relationship between decoration and structural design. The name “Bastone,” meaning “stick” in Italian, highlights the collection’s signature use of wooden dowel rods, which serve both as essential structural elements and as a distinctive exterior pattern on the cabinet surfaces.
The slender rods allow natural light to filter through, subtly revealing the interior while maintaining a sense of privacy and concealment.
The cabinet is customisable and can be ordered with or without doors. It is also available as a bar cabinet, featuring interior spotlights, a glass rack, and a mirrored shelf.
