Designed in 1970 by the Japanese designer Takeshi Nii, the Nychair X Rocking displays the same characteristics as the standard chair but with a curved base that rocks back and forth when users weight is shifted.
The minimalist seat has a lightweight, foldable design to aid storage and movement, as well as ergonomic dimensions that align with standard living room sizes.
The practical design has a seat made from high-quality Kurashiki sailcloth, a natural and durable fabric produced using traditional techniques at a factory in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, a region known for denim making.
The Nychair X range has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Good Design Award from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, and the Long Life Design Award from the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.

Materials
The frame is made from stainless steel with urethane coated beech for the armrests.
