Office Desk, 1959
Office Desk by Bodil Kjaer for Karakter.
The timeless and iconic desk was pioneering at the time of its design; it was the first of its kind with its simple and minimalist design. Reflecting Kjaer's architecture background, the tabletop is supported by the slender contrasting metal legs, appearing to be levitating above the frame. The Office Desk has also been coined as the ‘James Bond desk’ as it was featured in three early Bond movies.
