PP 505 Cow Horn chair by Hans Wegner for PP Mobler.
Great luxury sometimes comes in small packages. The Cow Horn chair is one of the smallest chairs designed by Wegner, but it is a stunning work of art. Designed in 1952, the Cow Horn chair is the immediate follow up of the Round Chair, deemed the breakthrough of Wegner's career.

Materials
The armrests and back are made of two solid pieces, joined together in the middle. Wegner decided that instead of hiding the necessary joint he would rather enhance it and make it a feature. To reach the full effect, Wegner used wood of a contrasting colour. This original idea has become a characteristic trademark for many of Wegner's works.
Frame in oak or cherry in the following finishes: soap treated, clear bio oil, white bio oil or lacquered. Seat available in cane or upholstered in Standard leather.
