In 2023, John Tree launched a new product as part of his popular Jiro range - the Jiro Swivel Stool. The new design, available in counter and bar heights, follows the same design principles and material palette as the original seat and has a 360-degree swivel return mechanism, making it suitable for residential and commercial spaces.
When creating the Jiro range, Tree's primary goal was to design a functional chair that provides optimal support. The chair's dynamic backrest and sculpted, ergonomic seat ensure comfort even during extended periods of sitting.
Tree opted for plywood as the primary material for constructing the chair because it is natural and easy to shape during production.
