Eames EA 108 Chair by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra.
Charles and Ray Eames designed the Aluminium Group in 1958 for the private residence of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana, USA. Instead of using the traditional seat shell, the designers stretched a panel of fabric or leather between two aluminum side members to create a taut yet flexible seat. This design allows the chair to adapt to the sitter's body, making it exceptionally comfortable, even without extensive upholstery.
The Aluminium Group includes various models suitable for homes, offices, and public spaces. With a wide range of aluminium bases available in polished, chrome-plated, or powder-coated finishes, as well as a large selection of colours for fabric or leather upholstery, you can find the perfect Aluminium Chair for any environment.

Backrest and seat upholstered in mesh, fabric or leather. Please see the downloadable pdf for options.
For leather options, the seat cover is leather and the reverse side is covered with Plano fabric.
