Designed by Miguel Milá, the Cestita Metal Table Lamp traces its origins to a chance discovery in 1960s Barcelona, when the designer found an opaline glass globe outside a glass factory. That simple object became the starting point for one of his most celebrated lighting collections.
Reinterpreting the warmth of the original Cestita in steel, the lamp balances strength with delicacy. A slender metal frame gently cradles the opaline glass globe, creating a refined contrast between crisp, architectural lines and the soft diffusion of light. An optional leather handle introduces a tactile finishing detail, softening the precision of the metalwork.
