Karelian Birch is a rare variety grown exclusively in Europe, more specifically, the region of the Baltic Sea and Central Europe. The wood has an intricate grain pattern paired with strong durability, making it a highly coveted material for premium design pieces. Like all Secto products, the birch is responsibly harvested from PEFC-certified forests, guaranteeing ecologically and socially responsible forestry.
Each Secto 4200 pendant is meticulously handcrafted from pressed birch by Finnish cabinet makers. The light has a delicate Scandinavian feel, with natural wood providing luminosity and atmospheric appeal. Whether used alone or in groupings, these lamps make a captivating statement.
