The Shanagarry Pottery was started in 1953 by Philip Pearce, who had a simple idea of making affordable everyday pottery. Philip's son, Stephen, joined the business in 1962 and helped create the iconic black-and-white design.
The clay used for Shanagarry products has been traditionally sourced from the banks of the river Blackwater for nearly three centuries. Each Tea Light Holder is meticulously handmade using this clay and undergoes 18 processes before being finished. These pieces make lovely gifts or a charming addition to your living space.
