Launched at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2023, the Pira G2 shelving unit is an evolution of Swedish architect Olle Pira's original design, created for the H55 exhibition in 1955.
Architect Anna von Schewen and industrial designer Björn Dahlström reimagined the shelving unit, retaining the essence of the original design while infusing it with contemporary appeal through the use of modern materials.
Within the wall-mounted unit, the shelves seamlessly integrate with the poles, creating a cohesive structure within the modular system and delivering functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Materials
The poles are made of extruded aluminium in black grey or white.
The shelves are made of sheet steel and feature an integral ridge.
Cabinets and organisers in walnut or white oak.
The shelves have a 50kg load.
