Selsdon Table
Selsdon Table by William Plunkett.
Designed by William Plunkett in 1963, the Selsdon Coffee Table is considered one of Plunkett's most adventurous and dynamic designs. The frame is constructed from flat-bar steel through a complex continuous structure of welded and cut steel, allowing for a reduced footprint.
At the time of its conception, labour-intensive and hand-finished production influenced its high price, and though rooted in modernist principles, the design was limited to a rarefied market.
The frame is available in two finishes: a polished satin coated steel and a powder coated red carefully colour-matched to a 1970s Selsdon original.
The table is topped with 12mm toughened glass, providing a minimalist appearance.
Exclusive to twentytwentyone.
