The shape and structure of the Soft Pad Chair are identical to that of the Aluminium Chair. However, stitched leather upholstery renders it more comfortable and makes for an interesting contrast with its slim aluminium profile.
All chairs in the Eames Aluminium Group include a 30-year guarantee.
Herman Miller has the sole license for the Charles and Ray Eames collection in the U.S. and the Far East. Therefore the export of these products from the UK to the U.S. is not possible.

Materials
The EA 222 chair comes with high backrest. Five sewn-on cushions with polyurethane foam upholstery in Leather or Premium F Leather. The leather version is available with topstitching. Side profiles and spreaders are made in die-cast aluminium, with a polished,chrome-plated or powder-coated in deep black finishes.
Leather Premium F is a cowhide leather with a smooth finish and beautiful top sheen. It is dyed-through and has a light pigment. It is also eco-friendly as it's treated with an olive tree leaf tanning agent (a by product of the olive harvest). Choose from 22 different colours for this premium leather collection.

The seat is adjustable with backward tilt.
Armrest and the four-star base in die-cast aluminium, with a polished, chrome-plated or powder-coated in deep black finishes.
Choose between hard castors (for carpet) or soft castors (for hard floors).
