Eames PACC armchair by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra.
Since the 1950s, Plastic Armchair's organically shaped seat shell has been combined with different bases and produced in its millions. Its current polypropylene version offers even greater comfort.
All models are available with a seat cushion (screwed to the seat shell) or full upholstery. The fully upholstered version has moulded polyurethane foam padding covered in fabric, attached to the shell with a welted edge. Different shell and upholstery colours and various bases provide a multitude of possible combinations.
PACC (PACC = Pivot Armchair Cast Base on Castors) makes the Plastic Armchair into an office swivel chair. The organically shaped upholstered shells are particularly comfortable and radiate a homely atmosphere.
The PACC is also available with an upholstered seat or with an upholstered seat and back here.
Herman Miller has the sole license for the Charles and Ray Eames collection in the U.S. and the Far East. Therefore the export of these products from the UK to the U.S. is not possible.
