The Mynt Chair by Vitra, designed in 2025 by Erwan Bouroullec, combines natural materials with innovative movement and sustainable craftsmanship. The seat and backrest are made from carefully selected oak veneer, offering a tactile finish that complements the chair’s clean lines. Its patented mechanism allows the seat and backrest to move independently, responding intuitively to body weight. With height as the only manual adjustment, the chair remains simple to use.
Available with a choice of a four-star aluminium base in multiple finishes with glides or castors, or a five-star deep black polyamide base with castors, the mechanism and frame are colour-matched to the base for a seamless design.
Sustainability informs every aspect of the chair, from its materials to its thoughtful construction, allowing components to be replaced or fully recycled. Designed to suit both residential and commercial spaces, the Mynt Chair offers a versatile solution for contemporary lifestyles.
