VP Globe Pendant by Verner Panton for Verpan.
During a visit to Venice, Italy, Verner Panton grew enamoured by the light emitted by the old street lamps in the city; this inspired him to create a simulation of that unique experience, leading to the inception of the VP Globe in 1969.
Widely considered one of Panton's most iconic creations, the VP Globe features a distinctive layered structure, five internal reflectors suspended by three steel chains and an acrylic globe that emits a gentle, warm light.
This version of the design incorporates splashes of red and blue that become mirrored in the top and bottom reflectors, ultimately accentuating the futuristic design aesthetic Panton is known for.

Materials
Acrylic outer top and bottom shell.
Reflectors are made of polished aluminium with two accent colours (blue and red). Ceiling canopy is made of metal (chrome plated).
