Betty Webbed Bar Chair by Thau + Kallio for &Tradition.
Originally created in 2020 by Thau & Kallio for the Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen, the Betty collection is defined by its sturdy wooden frames and durable construction. The design began with a brief to create a lightweight, portable bench – a concept that has continued to shape the collection’s identity.
In 2025, the range expanded to include counter and bar chairs, retaining the architectural lines of the original stool while offering a more supportive seating experience. Available in two heights, the Betty high chairs are well-suited to kitchen counters or bar settings.
Its purposeful form combines enduring comfort with understated elegance. Featuring a handwoven webbed seat in natural or black finish, the Betty Bar Chair introduces a soft, tactile quality to interior spaces.
