Eleanor Pritchard
Eleanor Pritchard is a textile designer with a studio based in South East London. She has a deep love and passion for colour, pattern, craft, and the vernacular. Her practice honours and reinterprets traditional British textiles, bringing them to a contemporary audience.
Her creative process is thoughtful, thorough, and hands-on - a journey that begins with the initial concept, often inspired by patterns found in the environment around us. From there, she moves through design, colour development, material selection, weave sampling, and finally, production.
All of her fabrics are developed and sampled on the loom in her studio before being woven in the British Isles.
