A refinement of the original Develius design from 2018, the Mellow version offers an even softer seating experience. Maintaining the structural framework of the core Develius family, Develius Mellow incorporates an extra padded layer within its fabric cover, introducing a soft tier while preserving the architectural aesthetic.
According to Van Vliet, the evolution of Develius represents a maturation of the entire concept, with the addition of a removable cover extending its overall lifespan.
The design of the sofa centres around its visual lightness, achieved through the black wooden legs that elevate the seat. This feature allows the sofa to easily fit into any room without appearing too heavy.
The configuration B sofa consists of EV8A and EV8I modules.

Materials
The Develius Mellow is crafted from a wooden frame. The seat has no-sag springs and all surfaces are padded in HR foam, covered with a duvet of shredded foam and polyester wadding.
It has metal brackets for connecting the modules.
The modules are covered with a simple inner canvas to make the outer fabric removable.
The Develius Mellow range comes fully upholstered in the following fabrics collection:
