Wire Stool

Wire Stool by Verner Panton for &Tradition.

Originally designed in 1981, Verner Panton's Wire Stool captures the designer's fascination with geometric shapes and repeated patterns.

Recognised for challenging conventional furniture norms, Panton favoured industrial materials like steel wire over traditional choices as they enabled him to explore new forms.

The Wire Stool is characterised by its transparent, airy appearance, with a seat crafted in concentric circles creating a captivating graphic effect. Despite its visual lightness, the stool boasts stable construction, allowing for easy stacking up to 12 stools, accentuating the repeated linear motif of the legs.

The seat is available with optional cushions in four Panton inspired colours that can be easily attached with concealed magnetic points.
