Designed in 1952, the Bertoia collection includes a side chair, bar stool, counter height stool, bench, lounge chair, armchair, high back armchair and asymmetric armchair and has been in continuous production around the world since its introduction.
Knoll historian Brian Lutz once said “Bertoia’s paintings were better than his sculptures. And his sculptures were better than his furniture. And his furniture was absolutely brilliant.”
The Knoll logo is stamped into the base of the chair.

Materials
Frame in welded steel available in a range of finishes: polished chrome, satin finish chrome, or bonded Rilsan in black or white.
Rilsan is a very durable and adhesive fused nylon-dipped finish that is scratch, chip and chemical resistant. The polished and satin chrome finishes are for indoor use only.
Available with additional seat pad and back rest. Upholstered in fabrics or leathers of the collection and secured to chair with lock-snaps.
