Designed by the Swedish architectural studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, Edo is a modular sofa that has evolved from the Tokio collection. Sharing similar characteristics - generous proportions and graceful curves - Edo has an entirely different internal construction designed to offer higher comfort levels.
The sofa's name pays homage to Edo, the historic capital of Japan (now Tokyo). Edo's design draws on Japanese influences, reflecting the traditional preference for organic forms in furniture and architecture.
The sofa's silhouette combines softness with architectural precision, giving it a timeless and luxurious appeal. Edo's curves gently envelop, creating a welcoming space that encourages conversation and socialisation.
The small configuration (E35) comprises: curved isle unit without armrests (5070), curved unit without armrests (5066) and isle unit without armrests (5054).
The large configuration comprises: curved isle unit without armrests (5070), curved unit without armrests (5066), curved unit without armrests (5067) and isle unit without armrests (5054).

Materials
The Edo sofa has a structure made from metal and poplar plywood with elastic straps in the backrest. The feet are made from graphite lacquered metal with black protective polypropylene glides.
The seat cushion and upholstery structure is made from shaped polyutherane with differentiated density.
The fabric cover is fully removable.
