Edo is a modular sofa designed by the Swedish architectural studio Claesson Koivisto Rune in 2023. An evolution of the Tokio collection, Edo shares the same generous proportions and graceful curves but with a different internal construction developed to offer greater comfort.
The design of Edo draws inspiration from Japanese influences, reflecting a traditional preference for organic forms in furniture and architecture. This is reflected in its name, Edo, which was the historic capital of Japan,

Materials
The Edo sofa has a structure made from metal and poplar plywood with elastic straps in the backrest. The feet are made from graphite lacquered metal with black protective polypropylene glides.
Module with shelf available in travertino romano marble or chocolate stained ash.
The seat cushion and upholstery structure is made from shaped polyutherane with differentiated density.
The fabric cover is fully removable.
