Bigfoot Table

TA04 Bigfoot Table by Philipp Mainzer for e15.

Designed in 1994 by architect and e15 founder Philipp Mainzer, the Bigfoot table marks the debut of e15's collection. A bold departure from furniture trends of the time, the burly table embraced solid European oak in its raw form and established e15’s commitment to sustainable design; nearly every part of the tree is used in its making, with offcuts repurposed for pieces like the Beckenzahn stool.

The table is defined by its robust square legs, which intersect with the tabletop, leaving a subtle gap that emphasises the meticulous craftsmanship. Made from heartwood, the core of the tree, the legs show the growth rings and naturally develop cracks as the wood matures, making each table one of a kind.

Every Bigfoot table is marked with the e15 logo and a unique serial number for authenticity and traceability.

Today, the table is available in various finishes and sizes, allowing you to customise it to your space.

European Oiled Oak sized 230 x 92cm is available for quickship.
