The No. 1 seating family was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1955, the first seating sofa family he designed as Fredericia's newly installed house designer. The range includes a lounge chair and two-seat and three-seat sofas.
The No. 1 sofa has an upholstered wood frame providing support for loose seat and back cushions, balancing exceptional comfort with a minimal, streamlined structure.

Solid oak legs available in soaped, oiled, light oiled, black lacquered and smoked oak stained lacquered finishes.
All wood from Fredericia comes from responsibly managed FSC forests, where no more trees are felled than the forest can reproduce naturally.Wooden frame, hand-upholstered body and interchangeable buttoned cushions. Chair body and cushions can be upholstered in the same fabric or in contrasting material.
All Fredericia leather comes from well-known, certified sources, where professionals are trained to respect animals.
