N-CC02 Sofa
N-CC02 Sofa by Norm Architects for Karimoku Case.
The N-CC02, designed by Norm Architects, is an evolution of a club chair the Copenhagen-based practice developed for a summer house on the rocky coast of Sweden.
Crafted specifically for Restaurang ÄNG, a Michelin-starred restaurant situated in a newly constructed, contemporary glass structure adjacent to the local Ästad vineyard, the sofa embodies Scandinavian design principles and tranquil materials, delving into the parallels between Japanese and Scandinavian design expressions.
The sofa marries comfort through the fully upholstered inner seat and backrest, with a structured architectural appearance via the exposed wooden elements on the outside.
