Laccio Table | Bauhaus Era

Laccio Table | Bauhaus Era by Marcel Breuer for Knoll.

In 1925, as a Bauhaus apprentice, Marcel Breuer conceived the Laccio table as a companion to the Wassily chair, his first tubular steel design based on the tubed frame of a bicycle.

Nearly a century later, Laccio continues to exude a timeless appeal, a result of its minimalist aesthetic, achieved through its defined lines.

In 2024, Knoll introduced three new matte frame colours to the collection, giving the collection a new visual identity. These colours were carefully chosen to reflect the aesthetic identity of the Bauhaus school and early productions of Mies van der Rohe, the third and final director of the Bauhaus, which often featured frames painted in white and a deep red.
