Kingston Footstool

The Kingston collection, designed in 1967, comprises a family of seats characterised by individually padded cushions and steel-footed bases. Though considered unconventional at the time, the Kingston has since become a widely embraced design for modular seating.
Expertly crafted with premium materials, the collection's base and frame are constructed from extruded aluminium bars, precisely bolted for durability. The deeply padded elements, held within the frame, offer both comfort and longevity.
The footstool functions as a versatile piece, either on its own or combined with the sofa or lounge chairs from the collection to create a relaxing lounge setup.
The Kingston range has been used in significant projects, including the QE2 Cruise Liner, Russell and Bromley shoe stores, and the Design Centre in Mayfair. It includes low and high-back lounge chairs, a sofa, a daybed and a footstool. Please see the 'related products' section below.

Base and frame in high-quality extruded aluminium bar. The deeply padded individual elements are upholstered in the following fabric/leather groups:
Fabric group 1: Bute Tweed, Clara 2, Field, Floyd, Mourne Mist, Remix 3, Steelcut Trio 3
Fabric group 2: Balder, Bute Tiree, Divina 3, Foss, Hallingdal, Harris Tweed, Mourne Blazer, Mourne Check, Sunniva 2, Tonus 3
Fabric group 3: Coda 2, Divina MD, Marci Mohair, Nimbus, Vidar 3
Fabric group 4: Black Mountain, Camino Real, Hanging 1925
Fabric group 5: Elmosoft Leather
