The Maasto Table, launched in 2025, expands on the existing Maasto dining collection by French designer Ronan Bouroullec. Carrying the same archetypal expression as the chairs, the dining table is a simple yet strong piece made to last for generations.
The design philosophy of the Maasto range centres on pairing plywood for lightweight strength with solid pine for lasting durability. Each variation of the material is utilised for its unique qualities. The plywood allows the legs to be slender, while the tabletop benefits from the toughness and durability of solid pine. True to Vaarnii's obsession with pine, this table highlights the pine’s natural patterns, embodying Vaarnii’s raw brutality with Bouroullec’s elegant and refined aesthetic.
