In 2024, Wästberg introduced the w242 Pastille alu, a re-engineered aluminium version of the original w182 Pastille. Maintaining its distinctive design and high-quality light, the new edition is crafted from partly recycled aluminium, a robust, lightweight, and infinitely recyclable material. It is offered in the original four colours, along with a new Telegray 4 finish.
The shade rotates freely, allowing you to direct the light as needed. A COB LED, designed to replicate the full colour spectrum of natural sunlight, works in combination with a large reflector and concave diffuser to deliver a soft, warm glow. Light intensity can be adjusted using a dimming button located on the vertical pole.
