When designing the Plico Chair in 1963, Danish design duo Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm sought to create a chair that takes up as little space as possible when not in use - whilst ensuring not to compromise on comfort. Looking to highlight what other brands and designers often seek to disguise, they created a remarkably simple design, using the highest level of craftsmanship, with visible joints, and beautiful brass fittings.
Available in this low back FK11 version, and a high back FK10 version - the solid oak frame and curved rear legs are shaped for stability. The back and seat, fitted with corresponding cushions, are upholstered in an elegant stitched linen canvas to provide a minimal look and enhanced comfort. The adjustable backrest folds completely and saddle leather armrests complete the design, giving it a distinctive expression full of character.
Available in an oiled oak finish, or a white oiled oak finish.

Materials
Frame made from solid wood and steel. Seat and back cushions use foam and canvas, and the strap armrests are made from saddle leather with brass brackets.
