Breuer 2 seater sofa by Marcel Breuer for Isokon Plus.
The classic modernist sofa was designed Marcel Breuer during his wartime exile in England while living at the Lawn Road building in Hampstead.
The design was created in 1936 for the Ventris family, with only two armchairs and one sofa produced for their apartment in the Tecton-designed Highpoint building in Highgate.
The sofa's armrest incorporates a shelf which doubles as a display case for objects or simply as a handy place to put your drink or book while seated.

The Breuer armchair is constructed using Birch plywood and, Isokon Plus has now reissued the design to its original specification, upholstered in a range of fabrics including options by Eleanor Pritchard.
The Breuer 2 seater sofa can be upholstered in the customers own fabric. Please enquire for details.
